Founded in February of 2005 by three high tech veterans, Castfire is focused on being the best mediacasting platform available. Castfire provides an interface to insert, rotate and analyze your podcast, as well as manage all of the metadata around your podcast. We provide playlists and statistics based on downloads, tags and categories. Our platform integrates into existing infrastructure through plugins, APIs, simple URLs or JavaScript includes. Your brand and message comes first. Castfire is the foundation.
Founders
Brian Walsh (brian at castfire.com): Brian is the founder of Castfire, handling product management and working hand and hand with Robert on Sales and Marketing. His diverse background of arts performance and database programming provide a solid base of experience for podcasting, which he views as an intersection of the arts and technology.
Christoph Khouri (christoph at castfire.com): Christoph is the technical genius behind Castfire, ensuring rock-solid performance and stability. He has a talent for taking on extremely difficult challenges, whittling them down to their most basic pieces and finding an elegant solution. Through Christoph's work at NextCard, Three Deep and AOL/Weblogs, Inc, he has developed an aptitude for systems reliability and scalability.
Robert Kohler (robert at castfire.com): Robert brings many years of executive leadership in the technology sector. Castfire is the fifth company that Robert has been a part of founding, two of which were acquired by GameSpot and NBCi. Robert, a recovering lawyer, is focused on bringing additional value to Castfire and our partners.
